DSTV Installation in Observatory
Observatory is a lively neighbourhood of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, shared student houses and flats near Groote Schuur Hospital and Lower Main Road. We install and repair DSTV for owners, landlords and tenants across Observatory.
Older terraced houses often have limited roof space, shared walls and ageing cabling, and they may sit in conservation areas where the look of the front of the building matters. We choose a dish position that works and is discreet, and we replace old cabling so the signal does not degrade on the way to the TV.
DSTV questions in Observatory
I share a house with other tenants. Can DSTV be set up for everyone?
Yes. We can fit the dish and cabling, and use Extra View if you want more than one room watching different channels from the same subscription.
Can a dish be fitted on an older terraced house?
Usually. We look for a spot with a clear signal that does not spoil the look of the building, and we avoid damaging old brickwork or roofing.
